The INNO-4-AGRIFOOD Smart Tools offer a specialized search engine, that aims to assist agri-food consultants, as well as SMEs to find targeted information about the agri-food ecosystem. Available in both web and mobile application, the search engine probes simultaneously multiple specialized sources of information available on the web, in order to retrieve results relevant to the broad agri-food industry, excluding the information noise observed when using common search engines. In addition, the specialized search engine effectively helps eliminating the time needed for monitoring and searching in various online sources one by one for accessing the widely scattered information that becomes available day by day concerning the broad agri-food industry.
The INNO-4-AGRIFOOD Smart Tools serve as a single point of entry to relevant information about the agri-food industry, such as:
• Latest developments and trends
• Relevant and state-of-the art technologies
• Innovative and practical solutions
• Funding opportunities
• Relevant expert and company profiles
• And more…
Besides the search engine, complementary features have been integrated into the Smart Tools, in order to make their use more personalized and convenient, as well as to allow easy sharing of the identified information with colleagues and clients. You are able to selectively save your search history so as to re-apply search keywords later, as well as to share selected search results via email straight through the application.
The INNO-4-AGRIFOOD Smart Tools have been developed within the framework of the INNO-4-AGRIFOOD H2020 project. This is an EU-funded project set on fostering and stimulating online collaboration for innovation amongst the more than 11 million SMEs active within the European Agri-food ecosystem. The project offers completely novel, innovative and free-of-charge innovation support services, supportive smart tools and e-learning courses aiming to:
• Unlock the innovation and collaboration potential of agri-food SMEs at local, national and international level.
• Enhance the service portfolio of innovation consultants and SME support networks, enabling them to provide even more effective support to their clients.
The INNO-4-AGRIFOOD services, tools and e-learning courses have been co-created along with agri-food stakeholders and will be demonstrated and validated in real-life contexts, with the active involvement of agri-food SMEs and innovation consultants, so as to generate end-results that are shaped to their needs, following an iterative 3-round process.
The INNO-4-AGRIFOOD project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement N° 681482.
